Brief Introduction of American Association of Nanoscience and Technology (AANT)

American Association of Nanoscience and Technology (AANT), headquarter in Washington State, USA, is a social organization founded by scientists and engineers from all over the world, especially North American. Members attribute themselves to scientific research, teaching, manufacturing, engineering and technology, basic and clinical medicine, and other different subjects in nanoscience and related fields. AANT has an office in Los Angeles and branches in Germany and China.

AANT principle

AANT encourages research, education, development and production of nanoscience and technology, promotes scientific innovation and technology exchange of nanoscience and technology, and uses nanotechnology to advance the development of natural science and improve the health standard of human beings.

Mission Statement of AANT

  1. To encourage the diverse development of all the subjects in nanoscience and technology
  2. To advance the research and education of nanoscience, and to improve the researching and teaching method.
  3. To raise the applicability and validity of nanoscience and technology
  4. To establish the regulation and criterion in the field of nanoscience and technology
  5. To introduce the knowledge of nanoscience and technology via conferences, reports, papers, nanoproducts, publications and so on.
  6. To enchance the interests of the society in nanoscience and technology, to promote the social investment in nanoscience and technology, and to speed the development of industry, agriculture and health.

Member Rights

  1. The voting right, the right to be elected and the right to vote;
  2. Free to visit the American Association of Nanoscience and Technology website as a member;
  3. Obtains the journal of "Nanoscience"; able to publish the paper in "Nanoscience" as priority
  4. Obtains the information materials of the American Association of Nanoscience and Technology;
  5. The nominative and appraisal qualifications of the American Association of Nanoscience and Technology awards.

Member duty

  1. Observes the Association's related regulations, does not behavior to harm Association's benefit;
  2. Pays membership dues and protects the benefit of Association;
  3. Follows advice from the membership department; no responsibility to the Association's any debt.
